Privacy Policy

TCG Browser ("we", "us") helps you scan, catalogue, and value your trading card collection. This policy explains what we collect, why, and the choices you have. It applies to the TCG Browser website and iOS app.

Information we collect

• Account details. Your email address and authentication credentials, handled by our authentication provider (Supabase). If you sign in with Apple or Google, we receive the email associated with that sign-in.
• Collection data. The cards, sets, and binders you save, along with counts and any notes you add.
• Purchase information. When you subscribe to Pro, the purchase is processed by Apple (in the app) or Stripe (on the web) and reconciled through RevenueCat. We receive your subscription status and a transaction identifier — never your full card or payment details.
• Camera images. When you scan a card, the image is sent to our recognition service to identify the card. Scan images are used to return a match and are not published or sold.
• Usage data. Basic, largely anonymous information about how the app is used, to diagnose problems and improve features.

How we use it

To provide and secure your account, save and value your collection, identify scanned cards, process and restore subscriptions, and keep the service working. We do not sell your personal information.

Service providers

We rely on a small number of processors to run the service: Supabase (accounts and database), RevenueCat with Apple and Stripe (subscriptions), and our own card-recognition and pricing services. Each receives only the data needed for its function.

Data retention & your choices

We keep your account and collection data until you delete it or close your account. You can clear your collection from Settings, and you can request account deletion at any time by contacting us. Deleting your account removes your collection and personal data from our systems, subject to records we must keep for legal or accounting reasons.

Children

TCG Browser is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their personal information.

Card data & affiliation

Card images, names, and market prices are third-party trading-card data shown for reference. TCG Browser is independent and is not affiliated with, sponsored by, or endorsed by any trading card publisher.
